- An independent, queer Tlingit filmmaker, Keeyées Tláa / Moriah Hayes, is raising funds for their feature documentary Dear Alaska,. This film features gen-z Tlingit shark siblings uncovering hidden family wounds to pave pathways of healing and lead celebrations of cultural reclamation for their community.


- The feature film will be screened in Juneau on June 7th, 2026 right after the week-long Celebration that brings different nations from all over Alaska and the Pacific Northwest together in ceremony. This screening will bring together the Áak’w Ḵwáan family and the other Indigenous relatives featured to heal and celebrate through film.
